On Saturday February  27th. FGB Toulon members, meeting at the Holiday Inn  welcomed Mr. Patrick MIDDLETON  who gave an entertaining talk about the past and present of the British community in the Riviera.

Mr. Middleton is a co-founder of the monthly magazine "Riviera Reporter" which is widely read by the English-speaking community of the Côte d’Azur. He recounted tales of the long tradition of British visits, and even very much longer stays,  to our region, from Hyeres to Menton, and then spoke about his experiences as a journalist.

 

Afterwards, many of the party enjoyed an excellent and very convivial lunch.
