The Rugby Club of the French Navy vs The Royal Navy Rugby Union

In the presence of the First Sea Lord, Sir Mark STANHOPE and Admiral Pierre-François FORRISSIER, chef d’Etat-major of the French Navy, the Rugby Club of the French Navy beat their English opposite numbers by 28 points to 3. Many members of the Association France Grande-Bretagne Toulon Var were among the 8000 spectators at the match between our two countries.
